The Indian Bridal Checklist

Indian Bride

Weddings are a wonderful affair in India! However the anxiety and the excitement mixed within them create so many emotions that we tend to forget a lot of things on our wedding day. So this is our call for all the beautiful brides :

Give time to your parents
You will be leaving them as a daughter, and entering your new life as a wife without them. So spend some undisturbed moments with them and share their emotional burden, though it is quite difficult during the busy schedule of preparations.

Be relaxed
Get ready to face the new phase of life with a recharged mind! Don’t lose your beauty sleep the pre-wedding night and drink plenty of water to make sure you don’t feel dehydrated
and ill. Also it is important to keep yourself healthy for the most important moments, so don’t stay hungry.

Hakuna Matata!
Don’t worry, be happy! Smiling with all your heart automatically gives that charm to your face that no make-up can ever bring. Of course it is an occasion to feel nervous, but don’t let it ruin your day for you.

Wedding dress, Jewelry and Footwear – Check twice!
All your dresses, jewelry and footwear should be tried out in advance to eliminate misfits. Also make sure that you have the best beautician ready with your perfect look because, you will want to stun all the guests and make head turn !

Buddy up
Ensure that you have a companion on the main day, who takes care of all the arrangements for you when you can’t be there yourself. And it’s always nice to have company to comfort your nerves right?

Get your family moments clicked!
If your photographer isn’t allowed for the family dinners and such, then make sure you have someone ready who has been assigned to click those intimate moments.

Proper packing for a destination wedding
Keep a checklist ready for all your packing, and also keep an emergency kit handy for any urgent situations that might crop up.

Stay connected
All your well-wishers who can’t be there for the occasion will be offering their blessing on the phone. So keep your phone battery charged and thank all of them.

The list goes on, and you can keep adding to it as and when you get ideas !
